Send  Army Chief on forced leave -Brajesh Mishra  (Times of India dated 2-04-2012)

Dear Mr.Brajesh Mishra
We are appalled to read this article in the TOI.Your views in the TOI  That—General should be sent on forced leave—is very painful and unprofessional? Is this the reward for a man known for his professional excellance? In a country which is run on caste and convenience  considerations,it is difficult for people like you to understand the virtues of merit? Why do not you put the same questions to the political class—which is not answering the nation on scandals involving thousands of lakhs of crores of rupees? When questioned- they are shooting the whistle blowers?Elderly officers like you may have to answer  the activities of IAS officers associations-appearing in the press regarding their response to  arrests of their cadre involved in criminal cases citing issues of scape goats etc and nobody is answering/clarifying this to the nation? To common people like us,the Generals age issue,Generals comments on Rs.14 crores bribe and letter to the PM are important ,but not so important as there are  many pressing issues- we,the common people are facing?Any way they are known.Only press and some interested parties are sensationalizing the issues. You have mensioned –in all this episode,he(Gen Singh) has lost his mental balance?Sir, it is the common people who have lost mental balance appalled at the level of corruption,nepotism,favouritism,mis-management and mis-governance—unable to comprehend and vote the same people as there is no choice?
